Arriva UK Bus
Business Intelligence & Data Transformation Programme
Not long ago, performance reporting across Arriva UK Bus looked like it did across much of the transport industry: fragmented spreadsheets, manual processes and significant time spent producing reports rather than acting on what they contained. Depot managers were administrators as much as they were operators. Insights arrived late, inconsistently and often too slowly to drive meaningful change. Frontline colleagues, the people closest to daily operational reality, had little visibility of the data that described their own performance. Approximately 8 hours per week saved per depot through elimination of manual Excel reporting.

Blink & First Bus
First Bus has always invested in doing right by its people — from becoming the UK’s largest national bus operator to achieve real Living Wage employer status to committing to a zero- emission fleet by 2035. The next frontier was digital: Ensuring every frontline colleague has the same connected, informed experience that desk-based colleagues have long enjoyed. In May 2024, First Bus partnered with Blink to change that. The goal: Give every frontline colleague a single, unified digital home — and use it as the foundation for a much bigger transformation. First Bus went live with Blink in March 2026, reaching 13,000+ employees on launch day — 50% adopted on day 1, up to 89% within 4 weeks, and 80%+ of colleagues online by week 2.

CitySwift & Go-Ahead Group
Go-Ahead Group and CitySwift partnered to fundamentally transform how the transport group plans and manages its bus networks across the UK. With over 6,000 vehicles across 10 operators in diverse operating environments, Go-Ahead needed faster, more reliable performance data, and a smarter way to act on it. The platform gives Go-Ahead’s teams instant access to reliable performance data, recommendations, and simulations, enabling faster timetable optimisation, rapid scenario testing, and data-driven conversations with drivers and depot managers. CitySwift's performance optimisation platform was deployed across all Go- Ahead’s UK regional operating companies in under three months, following successful pilots with East Yorkshire Buses and Go North East. Across Go-Ahead's entire UK regional bus network, overall punctuality improved by 4% following full deployment of CitySwift — a significant result for a network of this scale and complexity, where even marginal gains translate to meaningfully better passenger experience across millions of journeys.

Snapper Services Limited
Mosaiq Transit Intelligence Suite: turning transport data into confident, evidence-based decisions
Public transport authorities and operators generate enormous volumes of data. The challenge has never been collecting it - it has been making sense of it, quickly enough to act. Before Mosaiq, transport professionals typically worked across multiple disconnected systems: vehicle tracking via AVL in one tool, scheduling data in another, KPI reporting built manually in spreadsheets or Power BI. Useful information existed, but it lived in different places. Mosaiq's most significant recent result is its role in Kinetic's successful bid for Auckland Transport's Tranche 3 contract, awarded in March 2026 and valued at NZD$755 million.

South Western Railway & Signapse
BSL Direct-to-device
South Western Railway’s (SWR) collaboration with Signapse has introduced the UK’s first direct to device British Sign Language (BSL) travel information system, significantly improving inclusivity and accessibility for Deaf and hard of hearing customers. Integrated into SWR’s One Scan QR platform, it enables customers to access live, local travel information instantly on their own devices, removing reliance on audio announcements and complex written messaging. The initiative was driven by SWR’s Service Quality Excellence programme, which identified inaccessible information as a key barrier for Deaf customers. With support from Innovate UK, the Department for Transport, Network Rail and Whoosh, SWR developed a user centred solution that requires no apps, downloads, logins or registrations.

Transport for London
Escalator Annunciator Proof of Concept (EA PoC)
The Escalator Annunciator Proof of Concept (EA PoC) was a 15 month digital safety intervention, completed March 2025, targeting a minimum of 25% reduction in slips, trips and falls on London Underground escalators. Deployed across five central London stations and six high-risk escalators, the intervention addressed one of the network’s most persistent safety risks: slips, trips and falls in high-density station environments. The solution deployed connected audio visual devices at the point of risk, delivering real time, behaviour focused safety messages using directional audio and targeted visual prompts within a customer’s critical decision window when on-boarding an escalator – moving beyond passive signage to active behaviour intervention. 40% reduction in customer injuries and 30% reduction in incidents across all sites.
